Federal Employment Issuance Number (FEIN) Issuance Letter

Last updated on Aug 18th, 2017

A letter sent by the Internal Revenue Service. The letter displays a company’s official FEIN number. A company uses the FEIN number for tax administration purposes, and the government requires the number on certain immigration forms. This letter is needed, at times, to establish a company’s right to file labor condition applications on behalf of certain foreign nationals.
