What Ben Franklin Would Say About the Changes to Forms I-129F, I-130, I-130A, and I-134

Lots of little things in immigration law change quickly. It’s important to stay up to date with the changes, otherwise you may have an application or petition rejected or denied, which will cause you stress, cause you to spend more time than you wanted to spend on immigration, and (maybe) cause you to spend a lot more money than you anticipated you would. You may even find that you’ve lost access to immigration pathway once open to you!

In immigration, little details are, often, very important. There is an apt quote from Ben Franklin, the old, wise man among the United States’ founding fathers, about the great importance a little detail can assume:

For the want of a nail the shoe was lost,

For the want of a shoe the horse was lost,

For the want of a horse the rider was lost,

For the want of a rider the battle was lost,

For the want of a battle the kingdom was lost,

And all for the want of a horseshoe-nail.

So, let’s look at some little details, related to changes in immigration forms.

There have recently been changes to immigration forms commonly used by individuals and families.
